I have built the following models using Tomoko Fuse's edge module (open frame 2)..
Truncated octahedron with domes.
Dark modules form a truncated octahedron.
Light modules form hexagon base greater domes.
Every square is stiffen by spokes cupped into model.
The model built of 300 modules.
Two variations are differed by dome position.
Domes in the lighter model are put flat side to each other.
Domes in the darker model are put humpbacked side to each other
(the dome turned 60 degrees).
