Origami Gallery - modules

I have classified modules used for polyhedra building into three cathegories:

• vertex modules - each vertex of a polyhedron corresponds with a module, modules join across an edge;
• edge modules - each edge of a polyhedron corresponds with a module, modules join in a vertex;
• face modules - these modules form faces of a polyhedron, modules join along an edge or module insertion reaches neighbour face.

To build my models I use modules created by leaders of modular origami:

• Tomoko Fuse's edge module - open frame 2 (Tomoko Fuse, Unit Origami. Multidimensional Transformations, Japan Publications Inc., Tokio and New York 1990, ISBN 0-87040-852-6, p. 65);
• Bennett Arnstein's vertex module (one piece triangle module) (Rona Gurkewitz, Bennett Arnstein, 3-D Geometric Origami Modular Polyhedra, Dover Publications, Inc., New York 1995, ISBN 0-486-28863-3, p. 37);
• Lewis Simon's vertex module (two piece triangle module). (Lewis Simon, Bennett Arnstein, Modular Origami Polyhedra, Westminster, 1989, p. 26);
• Jim Plank's edge module "penultimate" .
